Proof of how fast Prius will go...

    Not that most of us are interested, but proof of how fast a Prius will go comes in the news tonight that Al Gore's son, who naturally drives a Hybrid, was stopped for going more than 100 MPH in his Prius on a California freeway. Can't help but wonder how many MPG a Prius gets at 100 MPH. Anybody know?

    Does Al Gore drive a Prius? I got the impression from "An Inconvenient Truth" that he drives an Expedition or another such big SUV.

    You might have better luck asking Hummer drivers how much Pulse and Glide improves their mileage.

    Or send an e-mail to Al Gore's son asking him.
