Just bought our first 2010 Prius allready with 200 miles on it. Any tips or suggestions how to properly brake in the Prius?

Brake in period? Is that a break-in period for the brakes? :D

Seriously, common spelling errors aside, take it easy for the first 400 miles. Avoid full throttle and panic stops. That's about it.

Sure, happy to oblige: take your foot off the gas, apply pressure to brake pedal. It's really just like any other vehicle. ;)

Anyway, there's some info in the Owners Manual. More-or-less covered by Tom. They also mention to vary speeds, mix it up. In other words: don't cross the prairies in a brand-new car, with the cruise control set.
