Yep. We invaded the wrong country. Isn't that why we hired Iraq in the first place to take out Iran?

I only wish. Too bad President Peanut took down the Shah - of course if you are looking for the starting point of this current conflict

Time will see if you are right about Iraq.

Iran has to be done - as you seem to agree with too. They are the nexis of the majority of the worlds evil. I hope people will support the effort.

Yeah, let's invade them. They are part of the axis of evil and they admittedly are developing weapons of mass destruction. What could go wrong? We've learned from our mistakes in Iraq and we couldn't possibly repeat them. I think this time they'll welcome us with roses this time. If bush doesn't go for it, then he's as much of a ###### as the previous presidents.

Actually, too bad the CIA took out the first democraticly elected president of Iran back in the 50's and installed the Shah, which accounts for Iranian hatred and distrust of the US, which resulted in the uprising of Islamic fundamentalists kicking out the Shah in the 70's.

Is this the latest incarnation of neo-con revisionist history?

Don't get me wrong, I despise the Iranian theocratic regime, but it came to power in a popular uprising fueled by our support of the oppressive and corrupt Reza Shah Pahlevi regime.
