Ken posted a picture in the MPG sticky post for pulse and gliding....

When I pulse, I do try to get in the red zone, although when I glide, I typically try to hold a "no bar" glide (no chg, no glide zone) although when I look at the "car" icon, there is usually a charge going somewhere (except at the magic 8 mph, where I get a true glide on a flat road).

Many would recommend a "brisk" acceleration up to speed. To me, even filling the big bar all the way in the pulse section does not seem to be "brisk", and it is downright pokey when going onto the freeway.

So my question is this, on a flat road, where do you find the bar when you feel you are accelerating briskly? Do you stop at the end of the big bar? partially in the PWR range? Full PWR range? Beyond full PWR range?

Brisk is spiked all the way to the end of PWR, deep in the red... only briefly, of course.

If you have a tachometer, it's a quick climb to 3500 RPM.

Last time I noticed it was red-line zone, pegged.
