the recall is not on the pump with the belt, it's on the electric pump

They will probably try to upsell you into a new engine water pump and belt, while the recall is being performed.

Yeah there going to replace the Inverter coolant pump. No belt there.

No mention of miles but at 8 years old in Florida it needs a new belt anyway. Its only job is to turn the engine water pump. If it breaks you'll never know till the engine overheats and it lights the engine dtc on the dash. Too late.

They often replace those without replacing the coolant. You may want to pay extra for a coolant change if it's time.

Correct! They usually just duckbill pliars the in & out hoses so no coolant loss. Slap the pump in and badabing! You drive away with new pump and 8 year old Inverter coolant.

The recall specifically calls for the replacement of the coolant. You should really ask for them to change the coolant as an extra service, then when paying, show them the recall notice that says the coolant change is included. Then it'll be done and it'll be free
