I am going to be purchasing a Prius in 2008 and am trying to decide what color I want. I am trying to decided between the Barcelona Red, Magnetic Gray, or Spectra Blue Mica. I have see the Red and Gray in person but have yet to see the blue. I was wondering if anyone here owned a Spectra Blue Mica Prius and could post pictures of it so I could try and figure out if I like it. Also, feel free to post your opinion on the colors, any help is appreciated.

A quick search of the site brings up plenty of photos

I saw the blue on the freeway this last Saturday, and I must say it is a really PRETTY blue.

Of the colors you listed, I prefer the Magnetic Gray. Buy what you like, though. All of the colors look nice.

I would've gotten the Spectra Blue if it had been available in 2007. It's an absolutely gorgeous color.

Obviously, Black is the best Prius color. ;) But Spectra Blue & Magnetic Gray aren't too far behind. I'm trying to talk my husband into getting one of those colors if he decides to get a Prius.

I saw a spectra blue on the road the other day for the first time. Its a nice color, but I've never owned a blue car.

I got magnetic gray. Its nice, but I miss my salsa red.

I'm absolutely loving my Spectra Blue. I bought it totally sight unseen, and decided on the color solely on the pictures I saw on the internet. Barcelona Red would have been the second choice, but both people we know with a Prius have them in Red. I kinda liked Mag gray as a third choice, but DW vetoed, just as I did with Seaside Pearl. I've always liked blue cars, though that has always been the predominant color in my family. Spectra Blue seems to stand out in the crowd, though that might just be my eyes. Its bolder than a light blue, but brighter than a dark blue. It kind of lends a sporty, hip look to the car. NOT that I'm trying to get you to buy Spectra Blue...i like being the only one around with one!

Call me practical, but light colors are easier to keep clean and dark colors are waaayyy too hot in the summer time! For my personal taste. ;)

That said, the red is a really nice red.
