question about traction battery wires

    im doing a rebuild in another thread i noticed some small wires connected a few of the cells on the bottom side by a plastic clip what are these for are they measuring something temp maybe . They appear to be wire hangers but there has to be more to it . I beleive their are a white pair and a black pair.
