    Hey Guys,

I'm getting ready to replace my front brake pads for my 2011 Prius II. I was wondering if I disconnect the car battery negative terminal and reconnect it back, would a code pop up on my radio head unit?

    Thanks!

Do you mean an anti-theft security code?

There no codes on the stock Prius radios.

There was on our previous Civic, looking on the 'net it was a ROYAL frustration for owners.

After doing the brakes and before reconnecting the battery, be sure to pump the brake pedal to get firm pedal. And keep your fingers crossed...

Thanks and yes I mean security code. My 2004 Civic had a security code so I was inquiring if the Prius did too.

I have the same question about that too. Does that apply to navigation models as well? I know my '06 Accord's navigation system has both a radio code and a navigation code.
