I recently bought a 2015 Prius and am having an issue with the radio. For no apparent reason the radio will change stations. Sometimes it will change to AM, then back to FM, all the while changing stations on both bands. The only way to stop it is too turn the radio knob off and on again. seems to happen a lot during hot weather.
Has anybody seen this issue before, and, if so, what can be done about it? Thanks for the help in advance.

sounds like a bad circuit board. why not look for a new h/u, salvage or ebay?

Have you noticed any connection to the position of the steering wheel when this happens?

You've got the touch-screen style, right? It has a diagnostic mode. You can find lots of threads on how to get there (two ways, either six screen touches on specific parts of the "display" page, or three taillight blinks while holding a specific button). Lots of people think it is a diagnostic mode for the rest of the car (which it isn't, but that's why there are so many threads about it). But it is a swell diagnostic mode for the radio controls. :)

One of the pages in there is called something like "switch and button check", which is just what it sounds like. When you're on that screen, you can play with all the knobs and buttons (on the dash and on the steering wheel) and it shows you which ones it thinks you're pressing. Or it might show something showing up as pressed when you're not pressing it. That could help you spot the problem.
