radio upgrade

    I have a 2010 prius II and want to put a prius III jbl radio in it
    I know I need a amp my biggest concern is the wiring of it can anyone help
    PS i all ready have the new radio can i use any year jbl prius amp?

    It'll be a huge undertaking. The speakers are different (eg: 8 vs 6, and all different types). You will need to get the door panels and the associated wiring to install the rear mid range speakers (which the Prius II doesn't have).

    Why do you want the JBL headunit? If you want better sound, just change the speakers & add an amp.

    Toyota Publications has the parts and labor needed for a JBL install - i'll add that Venom is correct - even if I was given all the parts, I doubt it's worth it - many have mentioned poor sound...

    There are many now that are swapping head units - I did this - and the sound is remarkably better - even with the stock non-JBL speakers. You also get a nice Nav with most - increasing the value of your little Prius...
