Real-life shots of the Toyota FJ Cruiser

    I'm not sure if there have been any street photos of the FJ Cruiser to this point, but here is one that my buddy took in Greenville. 4 FJ Cruisers lined up with California plates - apparently in Greenville for either mountain tests (I assume they could do these out West, though) or some sort of event. Taken with a cameraphone.

    I'll post more as soon as I get them. Most of Greenville is without power, but my friend is going to take more detailed pictures with a real camera and send them to me as soon as he has a power source.

    Apparently a few of them are, at least. I haven't seen a release date for it yet, but I know it's for the 2007 MY.

    He called and said he took a ton of pictures with a good digital camera, so hopefully he'll have power and can send them to me soon. He was very impressed with it - basically calling it a cross between a Honda Element and a Land Rover.

    They look neat. You can't complain about this Toyota product lacking character. I can't wait to see one in person. Wonder what kind of fuel economy these things get?
