This appears to be a cool product. Plug their Bluetooth device into the ODBII diagnostics port and monitor your Prius systems on various laptop or handheld computers.

That's very cool that it's BT...way better than the 10' cable I've got coming off of mine.

BUT.....the ad didn't say anything about being able to obtain CAN data.

I'd just be happy at this point if I could get a USB Bluetooth adapter that would successfully load more than 1 phone book entry at a time! I'm on my 2nd attempt now.

    Found this in their FAQ:

Retrieves and clears both Generic and Manufacturer specific diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)
Displays live sensor data and freeze frame data (PC platform only)
Communicates with Engine Management System and Emissions Systems
    Switches off 'Check Engine' Light
    Displays generic code definitions on-screen
Record and playback data (Depends on software)
    Includes detailed online instruction manuals
NOT designed to switch off 'Airbag' or 'ABS' warning lights
NOT compatible with CAN protocol used on some 2004/2005 vehicles
NOT compatible with PWM, VPWM protocols used on some USA vehicles, including Ford.

Good find Dan, I looked through the FAQs but missed that. Too bad, the concept is great. I'd love to be able to leave it plugged in and connected via BT to my PDA.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going t justify the cost of CAN-VIEW to my wife when it comes out for NAV equipt cars!
