For those of you who have driven a 2010, do you know if the rear seat windows open all the way, or just go down partially for kids saftey? Is this a feature, like child locks, which can be turned on and off by concerned parents?

If anyone could show a picture of how far down they roll, that could be even better.

I test drove a 2010 on Tuesday, and rolled down the back windows all the way. The do not protrude.
They are also auto-down, just a touch and the window descends all the way automatically (even from back seat switch, not just the driver).

Do you know if they are also auto up, or just auto down? I love that feature!

I "think" both up/down, but don't remember trying it up.

From the Toyota Prius website, re: Specs and Features:

"Power windows with auto up/down, jam protection in all positions and retained-power features"

I believe the feature also includes a variable speed open and close. It is designed to prevent high wind noise that exists during opening and closing of car windows at high speed.

Even if they do open all the way, the safety feature on my 2009 (and any other car I have had with automatic windows) is that the driver can lock them from the control on the door.

They lock. The best thing is that they've changed the way it operates. Previously (and on most Toyotas), locking the other windows also meant locking them out on the driver's side. Now, if the other windows are locked out, the driver can still control them.
