Anecdotal 3 weeks after install, better acceleration 0-40. Personal delivery driver with an average of 70 stops a day. Ave around 40 -44 mpg. I’m happy with the red bullet.

Did you drive in normal or eco before installing it and what mode do you drive in now?
Delivery drivers are a great resource for testing brake pad makers... If you find some brake pads that perform better than OEM please let us know?
Drove in normal before & now. Bought bar with 10.9 K miles. Brakes are good & im hopeful they last a long time. jacj
I believe the pads should last for at least 100k km.
On my old Ford the pads went on till 80k mind you that was not a hybrid car, but 70% of the time on the highway. After one year just eyeball the pads from the side. If you don't see much wear, likely they will last a very long time.
Anyone have thoughts as to why Toyota did not make the stock similar to the red bullet?
I’m sure there is a legit reason taking into consideration that red bullet clearly adds a noticeable fun boost to the car.
In my opinion Toyota is missing out on an opportunity to sell a performance oriented solenoid through it's TRD product line.
Hey Jim I agree. It’s more fun to drive the car with that on it. Even my wife said she noticed it’s quicker. Must be awesome on the much more powerful g3.
@Jim Swart - how does the Red Bullet feel in your gen 3? noticeable difference?
First thing I do when I get in the car is engage the PWR mode. I love the quick response that the Red Bullet gives in this setting.
Very cool, do you also notice better response in normal mode vs. the stock?
I always use the PWR mode. It allows one to get to their intended cruising speed quicker and I don't find that it has impacted my fuel economy. I can still average over 50 MPG even with ultra high performance tires if I'm careful not to over use the engines performance. You can't have both more power and better fuel economy at the same time. It's a trade off.
True story. Even at 50+ mpg, that's still well within in motorcycle territory.
Or just push the go pedal farther in one of the other modes. As you can see, the normal, ECO, and PWR pedal mappings all cover the same range of motive force output using the same range of pedal angle input.
Except that there's a noticeable difference between normal and PWR. I can't stand how sluggish it is in normal mode. If I forget to put it in PWR mode, I notice it right away, a lot more travel for something to happen.
The instructions on there site say must not be in eco for the bullet to work properly. No vrooom vrooom in eco.

Are you using the red bullet? It seems like a lot of people using red bullet report a noticeable difference even though the 'data' (shop manuals, dyna, etc.) state otherwise. We really need someone to do measurements when real world driving using OBDII monitoring, then we can know for sure. I guess at the end of the day if it feels faster, that's all that matters
