redo of a hatchback garnish repair

    Have repaired this piece a couple of years ago with epoxy putty as i recall. Now again the repair has failed and ready to try again. I seem to remember seeing a post here or perhaps elsewhere where some sort of malleable metal strips were used in conjunction with the epoxy. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Your thoughts and comments are most welcome thanks qm
