Reinforcing plastic under-panel bolt holes- nice find

The soft polypropylene and polyethylene panels often bolted to threaded nut inserts often wear through from vibration, road vibration and repeated removal and replacement. They also tear off at the holes when running over road debris.

In the past, used 1/4 inch fender washers for the 10mm hex head 6mm bolts used to hold them. They were not always ideal.

Recently, I found these inexpensive neoprene backed stainless steel fender washers with a wide full one inch diameter to be ideal.
