i tried to fix my door actuator in my 2009 prius. However after I closed my door, now I can't open it from the inside or outside. I can reach in the door and manually pull the level on the actuator and is still will not open.

Now I just want to get the actuator out and put a new actuator in. Hopefully this is possible and if so how?

Yes I still have the interior panel off and the vapor barrier pulled back

    Thanks

are you able to see where the manual lock mechanism connects to the door lock? i'm thinking it is locked.

I'm not sure to look for that. Where is that in relation to the actuator? I used the the and turned it to unlock.I'm not sure where to look for that. Where is that in relation to the actuator? I used my key manually to unlock the door but still didn't work.

I can see the rod from the handle that goes to a lever on the actuator. I can reach the lever with my hand and pull it down but still doesn't open.

Is that what you were talking about?

So I think see the problem with the lock. But not sure how to fix. When I turn the lock outside, there is a small rod that moves. It looks like I didn't get that rod in the actuator hole. Sorry if the picture is big
