    Hey all,

What is the trick to removing the taillight assembly on the 2010 Prius? I have the body open on the inside and have removed the two nuts holding it on. So there are two threaded screws and two plastic "knobs" coming out the back.

I should be able to just pull the thing off, right? I'm pulling as hard as I think I should and it doesn't budge.

is there a trick to it? Should I start at the top? the bottom?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Never mind - I got it. I popped the plastic retaining pegs with a chisel :)o) and she pulled right out. Trick is to pull the top out first and then slide it to the outside of the car while pushing down to free up the bottom bracket.

Getting the new one in is pure trial and error. :p

I'm planning to do this myself and want to make sure taht I have the right instructions! somewhere in the forum I read:
I was wondering if you loosen the bumper or removed the bumper bolt (too) ?
