:eek:My 2005 Prius LED Center Information Display unit cracked during a collision and I am interested in replacing it with a more affordable option rather then the expensive new factory model directly from the Toyota dealer. Does anyone know of a good Prius junk yard, auto salvage source, or someone who has access to a used console, they or someone they know, are interested in selling? Is it possible to get a GPS upgrade too?:(

If it was screwed up as a result of the collision, then let the insurance company replace it. Thats what the insurance is for!!! Hope it was the other guys fault, and where's your lawyer. Sadly having a auto accident and not consulting a attorney, is a BIG mistake!!!

    Good Luck

Are you talking about the MFD? The MFD is an LCD device, not an LED. The spedo unit is a VFD. I am not aware of any LED display on the Prius.

i've heard there are three mfd screens used in the prius

    navigation, phone, and base prius

apparantly if you have a package 3 for example, the bluetooth telephone feature is actually inside the mfd

There are actually 4 MFD screens in the current models:
Base model & package 1(?): It's like the MFD in the 04-05 models
Package 1(?) and Package 2:High res screen
Package 3 & 4:High res screen with bluetooth
Package 5 & 6:High res screen with bluetooth and Nav buttons
