I recently purchased a new 2010 Prius and selected the JBL Bluetooth, XM radio accessory. I have elected not to subscribe to satelite (XM) radio, but my FM reception is very poor; i.e. it has a very short range and is noisy. I believe the problem is that my car came with an XM antenna. Is this assumption correct? Can I get Prius to replace the XM antenna with an FM antenna?

The XM antenna is separate from the FM radio antenna. The FM antenna is the flexible part rising up, the XM antenna is located in the squarish base of the antenna.

Some others have reported poor FM reception as well.
