    Hello:

My name is Greg Wright and I am a reporter at Gannett News Service. I am doing a story on the future of energy in the United States. One of the fastest growing trends is the move toward more fuel efficient cars such as the Toyota Prius. I am looking for owners of the vehicle to get comments on its pros and cons.

I can only accept interviews from people who want to speak on the record and who are willing to provide their home town. Please e-mail [email protected] or call toll free at 1-888-467-4040.

    Thank You

    Greg,
I'm only a Prius owner wannabe, on a few wait lists so I don't fit your needs. However there are a lot of people here that I'm sure will help you. Please let us know when the article comes out. :)

Just spoke with Greg. Seems like a decent enough guy. Article, he said, should be out in a couple weeks.

Nice guy doing his home work. Told me he was going to send a photographer by to take my picture with my car. We shall see. He seemed interested in the fact that I was a reformed SUV driver and I got my car in Montana. Also interested in the fact the my son was a Environmental Studies major and was interning for the DEQ.

Got a call from the photographer from the local Gannett affiliate (Daily Olympian) They are going to come by and take a picture of my car Wednesday! Guess I should wash it. Hope it doesn't rain, though everyone will expect rain coming from the Pacific Northwest and all

Do you still need comments from Prius owners? I'm willing if you are.

    Re: Article

Probably not. I posted early but as I don't actually have one figured he didn't need my input. He sent me an email saying call anyway. I did, 2 days later, and he already had enough volunteers.

A update. Pictures taken. Driving, standing, inside, outside, and every which way but loose. The photographer with one camera digital, one film camera was blown away by our car. Hooked him all we need to do is land him Wahoo . The reporter said the story will be published on the 14th of September. He said he would send a digital copy of the article. I will post it. :p :p

They did not say. I will call the guy from the Daily O. I think that they pick up some of this stuff on slow news days. I will ask and keep folks posted. I was not the only one interviewed.

Working in Corporate Education Services, there is never a shortage of students bringing their hotel copies of USA Today to class. I have gone through yesterday and today's editions but can not find an article.

Any word on this? Perhaps it was bumped due to something else?

Yep I got sucked in as well. September 14 was the date that the article was submitted it goes to press tonight. Different mind set. He said Sept 14, I thought Sept 14, he meant Printed on the 15th. Got a e-mail today. It will be in USA Today and in other Gannett Papers at their discretion. I will let you know when I see it. Any one want to buy a copy of the Sept 14th USA Today?

    What - ever!
I used to think that Millennium Silver was the way to go. Then I was offered Tideland. No doubt I made the right choice.

What's next? Saying that your dog is better my cat? Get real. :bootyshake:

I spoke [E-mailed] with him, too. He was very amiable.

But :? I didn't see a hybrid story in my USA Today (Buy It Now on eBay only 2 dollars plus shipping).

There was a story about several cars and the experience of the Nav lady's voice. Because that reporter's name is Craig Wilson and I didn't have Greg Wright's name in front of me, I hurried and bought the paper. The story was just okay.

If anyone finds the story (today or future), could you tell us page and section, please?

I did not get a firm date of publication. He "thought" The Daily Olympian would use it. I would guess in a Friday issue that’s when they do car stuff, but that may be planned out in advance. I will check out USA Today for the next few days. Maybe it is all a scam to get me to buy the USA Today.
    Here is the last message:
    "Hi Mr. Drygas:

You have a beautiful car -- I saw the photos. Nice silver.

The story is moving out tonight. It should begin appearing in papers starting tomorrow morning. Since Olympia took the photos I'm sure it will run there. If you don't get a copy let me know. I'd be more than happy to get you one as soon as I can.

And again, thank you for letting me intrude in your life for a newspaper comment and the photo.

    Greg Wright
Gannett News" That’s all I know.

Noo but Sasha would like to play with your cat. Problem is that most cats and smaller dogs don't understand that. Sasha just likes to play that and have her belly rubbed.
