If anyone going to the SF show gets a chance, a few questions:

    1. Are there two planetary gear sets in the transaxle?
    2. Is the 2010 Prius transaxle a derivative of a Lexus?
    3. The 12 VDC power, any idea of the maximum current draw?
    4. Will the OBD bus protocol be published in an open source?
    5. Will there be an SAE paper on the 2010 soon? If so, when?
    6. Will the maintenance manual be available before the 2010 goes on sale?
    7. What resource limits the annual production numbers?
    8. Are the Prius battery modules shared with any other hybrids?
    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson

You wouldn't happen to be, by any remote chance, an engineer, would you Bob?

I didn't see Natay (sp?) or equiv in LA - Toyota was seeking Wayne and myself out for some technical questions. Feels good they trust us that way, but meant we did more answering than asking.

I sure would like to read what Art's Automotive or the Luscious Garage folks have to say after their visit.

Anyone know them well enough to ask?
