Resetting NAV Firmware

I have LockPick 1 for my 2004 Prius and it's been working great. Recently though, it no longer overrides the destination input while driving. It goes through the whole screen-to-screen sequence, but when it gets back to the destination screen, the input is locked out as it used to be.

I have an idea of what may have caused this. A month ago I tried someone else's more recent Nav DVD in my Prius. When I put the disk in, I think I saw a progress bar onscreen -- like it was updating some firmware. When I put my old disk back in, it did not restore the old firmware.

Does anyone know of a way to reset the Nav system to the way it came from the factory?

    Thanks very much.

Have you tried unplugging the DVD drive from the cables? This should reset it.

If that fails to do the trick, there is a reset button/switch on the PC board inside the drive.
