    That thing doesn't use a 'hitch' in the sense I think you're indicating. It's a 5th Wheel rig. The Plate is obviously on the roof of the Prius

    Why do you think the Prius has an engine braking gear! As far as the hitch, I was able to make an adapter to attach the 5th wheel hitch into the radio antenna bolt. That should hold it!

    Can't wait to see the Quicktime video that shows a Boeing 747 landing on a major urban Interstate highway, where the nose wheel collapses and lands on a passenger vehicle. Despite the mass and velocity of the 747, the passenger car driver is able to bring things to a safe stop. We will also need to see a screen shot of the state-of-charge of the Prius battery while "towing" the 747. Then we can argue further about what is more efficient, braking or gliding . . . .
