Anyone else experience this? It has happened about 4 times. Most recently this weekend. Driving around the non-hilly part of SF. About 80deg, tried to back up to parallel park and had to push it in revers 3x. Popped out twice after beeping and reversing for 2 secs, about 4 feet. Very slight hill going reverse- about 5 deg.

Btw, braking during pothole bulletin already corrected. Still happens during hard potholes but not the small ones.

My guess is you didn't hold it in R long enough to engage it and you were actually in neutral rolling down the very slight hill. Next time try holding the stick in R for at least 2 seconds in order to engage it (same with D).

Make sure that you're completely stopped before engaging reverse.
Yeah...I know. I've tried to park in Frisco before.

No. I haven't had any popping out of reverse issues.....and I parallel park and use reverse a LOT, since my car is a company unit and we're somewhat required (requested?) to back into parking spots.
