Rich-text editor pop-ups for image and link URL entry

    The last couple of days I found trying to add a link or URL to an image appeared to 'hang.' Refresh the page and I could use the 'text' mode to add the image URLs. But I was using an older Mac and Safari browser.

    I just replicated the image URL problem in the editor on Windows 7, Firefox 17.0.5, on my work computer.

    Just me?

    Yes. This problem started after the recent upgrade, at least w/the image "dialog".

    I didn't have a chance to report it and I wasn't sure if it was something on my side. I can repro it in Firefox 20.0.1 and Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m on 32-bit Win 7.

    I don't know exactly what you all are talking about, but here is what I am experiencing:

    Whenever I try to use the <insert/edit link> or <insert/edit picture> buttons a popup
    window briefly appears, then immediately fills with black, and collapses into a thin blue
    line. (Whether I'm trying to insert a url or an image I highlighted the address before I
    started.)

    If I'm trying to insert a url, I get an uneditable working link.
    If I'm trying to insert an mage/picture, the result is a url link. Try as I might by manually
    inserting the [*img=][/*img] around the address the software always superimposes
    [*url=][*url] around them. (I had to include the asterisks to get this to post ;-)

    Does this indicate some issue with the PC software, or with mine; MacBook and Safari.
