RPM at 60 MPH?

    One of the recent articles in a popular U.S. car
    magazine publication stated in their stats that
    the RPM at 60 MPH in the Prius C was
    2,500, which to me is high.

    On our Prius I am pretty sure that on level ground
    the RPM at 60 MPH is probably under 2,000 RPM.

    If someone has a scan guage they can check
    to verify if at 60 MPH the Priuc C is turning
    2,500 RPM.

    If it is that may explain why it only obtains
    46 MPG on the highway per E.P.A., while
    the regular Prius is 48 E.P.A. highway.
