Yesterday I went into our garage and noticed the rubber strip on the passenger side of our car was raised up near the end by the rear hatch. Not sure how it happened but I did push it back into the channel. So the question is how would that happen and now that I put it back in the channel how secure is it? I'll obviously monitor it of course to see if it happens again.

I usually have our passenger side strip elevate after leaving a car wash where they have high speed blowers.

I just do the same you did and push it back into place.

Haven’t lost it yet and we are about to have 189 k miles on our Prius :).

    Hope that helps

Haven't been thru a drive thru car wash lately so I guess I'll just monitor it. Thanks...

Yeah the exit with the 150 mph winds got one of the vent shades a time or to back also:(.

Had to reapply the double sided tape and took care of that;).

But the touchless car washes are the way to go(y).
