New SAE hp standards are in effect.

    06 Camry with 3.0 litre V6 - 190hp
    06 Camry SE V6 with 3.3. litre V6 - 210hp.

Note that they're also using regular fuel to rate the output rather than the previous "premium fuel recommended, regular may be used with reduced performance"

So the engine didn't "lose" hp.

    Other examples: (taken from VTEC.net)
    06 Acura TL

    06 Acura RL
New horsepower/torque ratings: 290 horsepower SAE net (Rev 8/04) at 6200 rpm, 256 lbs-ft torque SAE net (Rev 8/04) at 5000 rpm

    06 Acura RSX
    New horsepower/torque ratings:

    RSX: 155 horsepower SAE net (Rev 8/04) @ 6500 rpm, 139 lbs-ft. of torque SAE net (Rev 8/04) @ 4000 rpm
