A month from Tokyo to New Jersey. Wow. I think the dotted blue line is a continuation line. Find vessel New Century 2, IMO: 9229403 MMSI: 636017294 live marine traffic ship tracker. Current vessel position live on map, free. SAT and AIS
i did this with my 2012, which was a custom order. they let me track it from the order date, through the build, shipping, port arrival, trucking and arrival. it was exciting, have fun!
Yes, it looks like you're correct. There's no charge, so I can't complain about formatting or anything. It does update every two hours or so. I think I like the non-stop nature, ie changeover to train involved. It will be on a car carrier for a couple hundred miles though before it gets to the dealer.
Hopefully it will be smooth sailing. My 2024 landed at the NJ port and was pulled for “standard quality control check”. Waited 6 months and dealership eventually pulled a 2025 that was allocated to another dealership. It was more than one shipment of cars and they wouldn’t release what the issue was.
That's pretty cool! Our last two vehicles are special-orders (2021 Prius AWD and 2024 Corolla Hybrid AWD SE) and we didn't get anything. We only knew they were close when they appeared on the Toyota dealer website as "in production" Oh, they both went through the PDI, of course, but the tech forgot to check the air pressure in the Prius and those tires were at 50 psi....which is what they do before loading onto the ship for the trip over...so bring a gauge when you pick her up.
I seem to remember many years ago my father telling me they put cosmoline on VW's for the ocean voyage. Car carrying ships were probably different then.
Resisting the urge to peek at Google, I'm thinking tha't the furthest North you can be and still have the sun directly overhead at some point in the year? In other words, 23.5 degrees North (think that's earth axis inclination).
