Salsa/Seaside/Tideland BC, 10/15/03 & 11/3/03, Massachus

    Date Ordered: Oct. 15, 2003
    Dealer Ordered From (Incl. City/State) 1: Herb Chambers Toyota, Auburn, MA
    Dealer Ordered From (Incl. City/State) 2: Westboro Toyota, Westboro MA
    Timeframe given for delivery: 6-8 weeks (dealer 1), unknown (dealer 2)
    Color: Tideland Pearl, but told them I'd accept Salsa Red (really my 1st choice now), Tideland, or Seaside Pearl
    Option Package: BC (firm on this package)
    Your # on Dealer's Waiting List 1: 2 as of 1/15/04
    Your # on Dealer's Waiting List 2: Dealer won't tell me nor does he respond to emails.

    Well, got the call today (4.9.04) - my Tideland BC is in!

    Herb Chambers in Auburn was the dealer that got me the car first - it's actually the exact car I ordered back in Oct.

    Did paperwork this afternoon, prep will happen tomorrow, and I hope to pick up tomorrow (if they got the paperwork faxed to the insurance company and registry today before they closed).

    Total wait time from day I ordered until day I picked up (assuming I'll get it tomorrow) - about 6 months.

    Congratulations! You are an inspiration to us "newbies" who have been waiting a couple of months or less.

    BTW, if I can ask, which of the two dealerships did the Prius arrive in, Westboro or Herb Chambers?
