Just got the revised SGII with the Xgauge feature. I input the two that are listed on their website for Prius, SOC and BTV (which I presume to be the traction pack voltage).

The SOC works, but the BTV does not (just stays at a blank value). This is on an '06 model.

Wondering if others are having the same problem, and/or if some have gotten it to work, and on which model year.

    Thanks.

My understanding was that the SOV and BTV was for the Hybrid battery pack. I haven't added the codes to my SG2 with the new firmware yet. Have you tried re-entering the code?

Didn't try reentering from scratch, but I did verify all the codes matched the .pdf on their site.

Works fine on my '07. I would try re-entering the code. Maybe it just didn't take for some reason. In any event I find it only mimics the SOC anyway, so I no longer monitor it.

I just added SOC and BVT to the SG2 in my 2007 Prius and I also am showing a blank BTV.

Ditto. It works fine for me. BTV is not completely like the SOC. It changes more quickly. For example, if you jam on the throttle in reverse (big battery drain) BTV drops (and comes back up when you let up). If you step on the brakes it spikes. I think the measurement is being made in the engine compartment, so you are seeing the voltage drop across the cables. Or perhaps the measurement is made in the trunk but you are seeing internal resistance. In any case, BTV moves around a lot faster than SOC, but I agree that the steady state BTV value mimics the SOC.

Another odd thing. The lowest digit in BTV flickers constantly. Almost as though there were a loose connection. I suppose the battery voltage is constantly fluctuating, but I'm surprised the SGII/Prius Computer samples it that fast!

Please check EXTREMELY carefully. I messed up a couple times, either putting in the number from the line above in the table, or just skipping a digit. BVT definitely works on the 2007 model.

I have checked the numbers three times and they are correct.

    TXD - 0033
    RXF - 0100023B0000
    RXD - 2010
    MTH - 000100010000

    BTV is still not working.

I emailed Linear Logic, but have yet to get reply from them about this. I also re-entered the codes for BTV 3 times today, even entered thim in a different memory slot. Still nothing showing up.

Bill-psi, have you had any luck?

My 2007 Prius is an early 07 model. Those of you that got BTV to work in a 2007, was your Prius an early model?

Haven't tried anything different, and judging by others' postings, it wouldn't make any difference.

I guess I'll just have to wait for better intel on the codes, which appear to be model-year specific, and then some!

Mine works on my '07 touring bought in Feb. '07 - that doesn't sound like an early one. I'm beginning to think that maybe some of the units didn't get the complete upgrade before being shipped, since this is a problem with multiple people. I hope Linear Logic addresses this issue soon.

I sent my SG2 back to Linear Logic for the firmware update, it's 3.15 so mine should work but it isn't.

Mine is a late 2006 and the codes work just fine on them. Not bragging, just more fodder for the fire.

Well this interesting. I finally got a reply from Linear Logic, they say it should work. I don't understand it but I can't help but wonder if when they installed my firmware upgrade it got messed up somehow.

What other gauges do those of you that got it to work, do you have showing along with the BTV gauge?

I have RPM, Coolant Temp SOC and BTV.

I have a late 2006, package 7 I guess since I don't have leather, it has everything else though. The wife specifically asked for "no leather" but loaded.

Maybe the package you have makes a difference?

Not sure why it would make a difference, but we have everything except leather seats.

Exactly what I have and BTV works ok. I also display it with RPM, Temp, and SOC. I got my non-Touring model in August

I have a 2008 Prius. SOC, BTV, & BTA all work fine. Please note, that the SOC, "State of Charge" cannot be displayed at the same time as either of the others. If you take the SOC off the screen when the BTV & BTA is on there, the SOC works fine. Whichever was on the screen first will work, the others will not. This was given to me by Linear Logic on their data sheet, also posted on the Website. I verified this today in a real world test. Hope this helps you.
