...Can someone tell me the significance of these two temperatures of the motor-generators when programmed into the Scangauge? I notice that they keep rising up to the longest distance I have tried them (60 miles so far), and then the MG1 temperature is about 190, and MG2 about 165. I was hoping these would give me an indirect approximation of what the trans axle fluid temperature is...but I'm not sure what I am looking at.

I believe they are measuring the motor/generator temperatures which should be higher than the transaxle as a whole. Mine run about 100 degrees F over ambient after a few hours of driving. The inverter temp runs 20 F over ambient generally.
