I am new to this forum. so hello folks.

i just purchased a new barcelona red PRIUS V with advance technology package it has 1050 miles now . I am real happy with the car , but becuase of growing family we want a bigger car and want to sell off.
We paid 34,864 and would be willing to accept reasonable offers.

If someone interested in the chat forum to buy the car or if someone could suggest any sites where it could post my car for free or mimimum charge it would help.

    Kindly let me know

    jimmy

Wow your family grows fast. Kidding.

1050 miles are you serious? Can't you return it to the dealership or something?

Ebay motors charges a hefty fee to list cars. :-( I read through their charges.
    Thanks.

You could try Craigslist as well or your local classifieds.

its on Craiglist. No replies yet. Local classifieds ads need to try that.
    Any car websites you recommend?
    thanks.

You're basically asking the same question everybody else wants to know: where do you sell a car? eBay is expensive as you said, with no guarantee of a good price w/o a reserve. On Craigslist, almost nobody bites except spammers. Alternatively, used dealers will give you instant cash but they rip you off.

I suggest Facebook (Toyota Prius page) or the Facebook Marketplace if they still have that. But word of mowf is the best way to get quality inquiries, since the dawn of time.

May want to try vehix.com and/or cars.com. It would help your cause if potentional buyers knew your location. There are lots of Dovers. Delaware? Since it is a Five-AT probably not England.

If your local Chick-fil-A hosts a car show you may want to enter or park on the edge with a for sale sign in the window.

If it is reasonably priced you shouldn't have a problem moving it as it is a tough car to find, especially now.

Thanks for the Advise . I have posted the car on autotraders.com. I have a few inquiries already. I hope I have a potential buyer soon.
    Thanks

Cars.com Has to be priced right to sell! How bad do you want to sell? You might want to keep it a year or two if you can.Have you looked at a trade for what you want or need, sounds insane but I've heard of people doing it! No prius in stock at the dealer I go to,should get high trade in.

Auto Trader .com. for $50 bucks you can leave it on their site till it sells, and no need to re advertize it,month after month as it was in the past.
Have my MINI on the site with I think 18 pictures.

Wow you are in a tough situation.
You will find that in general cars that new are unsaleable.
Once the owner looks at the numbers-what they can get vs what they paid-they just keep it.
You will lose all the sales tax and have to sell for about 85% of the lowest price someone can buy it new from a dealer for.
Prius production is back up to speed, and gas prices are stable-25 cents less than they peaked at.
There just isn't any place that can sell it for what you need to get.

I would gladly trade you our 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition 4x4 (loaded with four bucket leather seats, moon roof, 3rd row bench, tow package) - plenty of room for a growing family and all the "stuff" you need to take with you even if it's a quick trip to grandma's house! We loved all the room while our kids were little - they're 7 now and now I'm commuting to school, to soccer, to ballet, to music leasons which is why we're selling our Expedition for a fuel-efficient Prius.

Seriously, you really ought to look into a trade. I saw some brand new hybrid Escapes in that price range you paid.

I like Cars.com for browsing for a car and bought a 1998 4Runner I found there but I know nothing of their charges for selling.

$50 to list on ebay, isnt much compared to a $34,000 car sale.
