Shield part identification

    Exhaust heat shield save it as a souvenir I doubt you'll get it back on the car and not sure why you'd want to

    Generally, heat shields are installed to protect parts that shouldn't get hot. It's up to you whether you will reinstall it.

    To get that one back on is going to be rather tricky to make it not rattle and make general noise

    If you decide to reinstall, to bridge the torn-out zones, you could try fender washers:

    Or short pieces of pipe hanger strapping:

    For the latter, you could even try two pieces, stacked like an "X".
