Are Prius V Shocks and struts interchangeable with the 2010 - 15 Prius?

I saw the same thing. The last five digits is different, but the way I was trained is that the last five digits denotes the model of the vehicle and the first five digits simply means that it's a shock. So of course the first five digits would be the same. Just like it is for a Toyota Avalon it would have the same first five digits. But just because the last five digits is different, would that necessarily mean that it's just a different vehicle or is it truly a different part as well?

A v is heavier, taller and rated for more load. It also has standard 16” wheels instead of the hatchback’s 15”.

Are your shocks leaking? If not I would leave them.

Got new shocks and a lift kit in a 2010 Prius. Want to put them in the 2013 Prius v. Will they bolt up?

Maybe, but the v wagon is 300 lbs heavier than the Prius hatchback.

It'll be like always driving around with a 300 lb dude riding in your car.

Different struts and shocks for the V...make sure you double check your part numbers.
