Should I add a Astro start

    I am in northern Minnesota and live close to Canadian border. I have no garage and I am wondering if a astro start is a good idea.
    I walk a large parking lot at work almost half a mile and it be nice to have it warm.
    How about a engine heater? Do you add those?
