Side airbags

    Can anybody tell me how much side curtain airbags cost? The Toyota sales rep told me $1000. I thought I had seen lower.

    Why do I ask? See "Side Airbags" under Prius Modifications.

    Do you to add on post purchase, or already installed? I bot my 2006 Prius 3 weeks ago today, with Package 1, which is the side and curtain air bags. That option is priced at $650.
