I haven't heard of anyone going through a broker to find a 2004 Prius, but I think it beats working with 3 or 4 dealers to try to find one. Let the broker do that!
He says I might end up paying $500 over MSRP, but our local dealer wants $2000 over MSRP.
Our broker says we're likely 30 to 60 days out now.

Got a call from our broker today, but the dealer had someone willing to pay $2000 over MSRP. We were only willing to go $1000 over, so we let it go. May kick myself later. :?

    Seems some dealers are short-sighted.

See posting in Dealers and Pricing.

    Got one!
Thursday (March 25) called James Toyota in Moses Lake. They had a white #5 Prius; I passed on because of color.

Victor called me the next day. Overnight they had a driftwood #5 delivered. They faxed us the info, we drove up and picked it up on Saturday!

In the last week I've had offers for $1000 to $2000 over MSRP. James Toyota doesn't play those games!
