Silver (or Black), Package 6, ordered Sept.22....

HEY, WE BECAME PROUD PRIUS OWNERS TODAY!

Not sure if we got lucky or what.....

After placing twenty phone calls to all of the Toyota dealerships in our vicinity in the Bay Area, we finally went with Putnam Toyota, in Burlingame CA. Best price (meaning, not adding to the MSRP), nice guy, and $500 deposit that they never placed on the credit card. We ordered Package # 6, Black exterior as our #1 choice, and Silver as our #2 choice on September 22, 2005.

Got the "call" yesterday (October 9. 2005) with the news that Putnam would be receiving their batch of Prius's, and that they had a silver Prius, Package 6, that they could offer us.

I hesitated for a second, having to decide between black or silver, but ultimately, we just wanted the vehicle! So we picked it up today (October 10), and I have to say, it PURRS, it is SO silent! We felt pretty good that it was only a 2.5 week wait, and we have opted to get some leather put in....have to say, this is a pretty cool car!
