I received a call from Sirius xm satellite radio that 3 months trial is expiring. Was this only a 3 months trial? Did anyone else sign up with Siri and what is the monthly cost you are paying? Is it worth it?

So far within 3 months Sirius and chargepoint are expiring.

I like Sirius XM. I was offered a 6 month deal and a 12 month deal. I got the 12 month deal for $99. I will probably renew when it is up for renewal.

Thanks. I was given a monthly deal of $19.99 with additional 3 months free, so it was not a good deal. I will find out about their yearly deal.

If you search PriusChat, you'll find that the common theme is to negotiate with SiriusXM.

I found their 'programming' to be arbitrary with no feedback mechanism. So I'm podcast today and only have myself to blame for what I hear.

Free promotion going on right now. At least it was working today. What we need is a thread where when someone notices that it is enabled, they post it right away so everyone here knows about it.

I have noticed the quality and dynamic range of their broadcasts to be just so-so. Pandora and other similar options beat it hands down on programming, since you can control your channels yourself. Personally, I wouldn't pay what they're asking for the satellite feed.

I wish they would add the Spotify app to the car as I prefer it over Pandora or I <3 Radio. But Sirius is way over priced since you can't control what songs they play. Besides that, I don't spend enough time listening to music to make it worth it yet they send me ads in the mail every few weeks trying to get me to sign up for their service.

I got bored with Sirius. The programming is incredibly repetitive.

The alternative channel was the one that made me pull the plug. All those guys played the same 5 songs every f@rking shift. And they weren't good ones, either.

Siouxsie & the Banshees' version of "The Passenger" sucks asteroids through cocktail straws.

Just got another ad in the mail yesterday. They are down to $5 a month for a 6 month renewal. That's a pretty good deal for people who like Sirius radio so thought I would share for those who would like to keep it - hold out for better offers.

I did not think I would like Sirius Radio but after having it now...I really like it.

They call me once a day, 7 days a week. Wish they never existed.

Look into getting a temporary credit card number, one that will expire soon. Those buggers are oily, will auto-renew you, no matter what you ask or they say. Your best resource is to not give them the chance.

After our experience getting extracted from their clutches, I would never do business with them again.

They don't give a crap about what customers want. They still call (4 different phone numbers), email, and snail mail on our 2014 Camry and 4Runner much less the 2017.

I can understand sat radio if you're on the road a lot. I tried it for 2 weeks way back when and don't need, like, or want it.

I'm addicted to my XM. I love that my Prius is satellite ready, since my previous Toyota and Scion needed bulky adapters.

I am usually prepared to leave when my trial periods are over. Each time, the customer service reps offer a very good discount in the neighborhood of what JonW received (at the last minute). Then I'll sign up for that. Yes, you'll need to track when the discount is over, otherwise the service will continue with the expensive monthly fee.

I'm feeling left out! After my Sirius/MX promotion expired I only received one letter in the mail and not one phone call.

XM works if you're in a smaller town or a place without terrain.

There was a free trial over the American thanksgiving long weekend so I gave it shot. It was a nice change for sure but I was also reminded at how crappy our Gen 3 satellite receiver is - it kept cutting out every time I went pass a tall tree. We have many treelined roads and I'm not always driving in the left most lane so having a tree cut out reception is not really worth it. Oh and it's useless downtown.

Yes, well, if they had a credit card number you would have a different opinion, I use pandora, it’s inoffensive and free, XM is poor and not free
