This morning I was cruising down the highway with cruise control set at 63 mph. All of a sudden the car slowed down and the "Slip Indicator" was displayed and the cruise control was now off.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm sure it has happened to others; it's by design. The owner's manual says that cruise control is canceled if Enhanced VSC is activated. Presumably you went over some surface and/or swerved in a fashion that triggered VSC.

    Thanks for the response.
Unfortunately in this case none of the criteria was met to trigger the VSC response. I took it into the dealer and they are stumped since it didn't leave a code but they said there might have been a "soft code" that deletes when you shut off the car.
They said that if it happens again, drive directly there without shutting off the car.
