Smart key fob and credit cards

    Is it possible or has anyone had a credit card demagnetized by their smart key fob?

    I wouldn't think it's possible, and it hasn't happened to me. They key fob is like any other electronic device... there's a very slight EM field it emits, but it's not big enough to demagnitize anything. In fact, i'd be willing to bet it's less than what typical cell phones put out, and i've never heard of one of those damaging a credit card.
