Prius less for past few weeks or not able to go for drive. As car guy this is start drive me crazy.
Why ask (some PC member know) now I'm most of time speding time on road.. not able to go back to Japan or U.S for month. Specialy now I'm China which not able to drive or international drivers permit is uesless. IF I have an address in China I may get temp driver licence in China.
Beside the work seriously I been spending time in
4% of year with rent a car, bus, train or Taxi
5% of year spending time in U.S
11% of year in Japan and time with my Prius
15% of year eat and sleep on Continental, Cathy Pacific or China Eastern airline(s) Coach/Economy seat.
15% of year stay in Hotel in Europ, U.S and China.
50% of year living in factory campas apartment in China. (eat, sleep, and work in one place talk about bordness).
about 3 more weeks! to reunite with my Prius. :) and I already reserved car wash.

Lately my buddy call me homeless

Looks like you know exactly how you spend your time!

So---you work in a factory? What does it make?

Where do you spend time in the U.S.? Do you have family here?

15% of the time on planes? Lots of little packages of nuts?

If you had a license in China, would you rent a car? Do you ever see a Prius there?

Not too many questions at once...

What time of day is it there when you go online?

I can not tell you much in detail.
In Factory campas there is office, factory building, small place for manager and dormitory for Chinese worker. I'm working at admin dep.
For US I'm based on near NYC and my parents living in Japan.

Well about airline, I fly same route from to Japan. So now some flight attendent start notice me, since I'm sitting same seat area in Coach/Economy. Also I always chat with flight attendent to get inside scoops.
I love Cathay Pacific one of best airline and some day company may allow me to fly business class <_<. Imagine 13hr flight in Coach/Economy with crappy food.

If do get drivers license in China I may(or company) buy own car since I have to travel to 2 other office in China.
Prius should on sale next spring or summer and price around $32k

Last time I flew Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong and then to Jakarta, I was not that impressed. In the past they were much much better in my opinion. I flew ANA last time because the shitty AA didn't make it on time and wouldn't give me another flight the same day, so I went to ANA and they took me with them, and I was very very happy with them.

I can relate -our first Prius got too friendly with the Toyota techs...

It was nice to have you visit out group in Orange County when you were out here. And you did manage to find the one local company that rents Prius in the South west, so at least you had a Prius ride for a small time.

I must admit, over Thanksgiving I had to drive another kind of car- and it was not the same( even though I did snag a Camry- but 4 inches of snow and ice was not fun -since I had left 80 degree California weather). I was so happy to get home to my Prius. ...

    Speedracer....Our sympathies...

My best Airline experience was with South African. Awesome. They let me sit on the upper deck on top of the other extra treatment. But I admit ANA was great also

Ohh Speedracer, I had this awesome drink on ANA flight. It was made out of Yuzu fruit I think. I think it's called Skytime :)
