So, this is what a "green" car means?

    We bought our Prius...
    and found out about the warranty that we can get from Troy here.
    So, we cancelled the warranty that we bought with the car.
    Refund: $2327
    Saturday, I get a check in the mail. Guess the license/registration for a hybrid is actually cheaper?
    Refund: $60
    My Dear Hubby gets in the car, and sees a $20 bill stuffed above the visor. "What's that from?" he asks.

    "Oh, this car keeps giving me back money, the more I drive it!"

    (if you must know, my carpool buddy had handed me his share for the pay period, and I stuck it up there...)

    I wish someone would leave cash in my car...although my niece did give me a quarter to throw into it for good luck...

    I don't think I paid less to register my Prius because it's a hybrid, but here in Virginia you have to pay a "personal property tax" which is basically an annual tax based on the value of your car. Here in Arlington County they want to encourage people to buy hybrids so they decided this year that clean-fuel vehicles would be exempt from paying tax on the first $20,000 of value. More $$$ in my pocket...
