    Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and I wanted to say how glad I am to have found it. I have read all of the posts and news on the Prius v and I would like to move toward a purchase.

I'm surprised that on the Toyota website there is not more than 3 stock photos on the v given we are relatively close to the launch. When do you estimate that Toyota will release more information on their site about the launch? What do you all recommend as the right next step - is it time to contact a dealer? Are there lists I need to be on? Or should I just continue waiting.

    Thx.

Yes Hibou it is. My mistake. There is not much that can be done at this point since ordering or reservation lists aren't yet available. I would consider contacting your local dealer. Most dealers can setup a internal reservation list so as allocations become available you have the first right of refusal. I know we are not in your area, but buying from us would give you a reason to take a road trip and test out the gas mileage ; )

hibou - I know that some dealers are taking deposits for them already. I anticipate that demand will be high for the vehicle when it comes out in October-ish, so the sooner you can tell a dealer what you want, the better. But don't agree to pay over MSRP.

Pricing should be coming within the next couple of months. Toyota usually holds that info until closer to launch.
