    Hey, I have an idea, what about a WIND powered boat? Seems like the wind blows a lot on the ocean.

    Without the sun there would be no wind so wind powered boats are solar powered.:D

    Without the sun there would be no oil, so oil powered boats are solar powered...

    Yeah, this isn't the first I've heard of solar boats. The Tamarack Lake Electric Boat, Co., moved their production from Ontario, Canada to Rome, NY.

    Solar lake boats sound more practical than ocean going ones. Most, if not all, boating on a lake is usually fair weather boating.
