I sent an email to the dealer stating that $2,000,000 was a bit much for a Package 7.

eBay Package 7 Prius for sale

    Wow...

Sort of like, "Scam or Satire? You decide!"

The seller has an eBay rating of zero.

I think someone misplaced their decimal a bit.

I'd like to think that it was satire, but it might also have been a test post from a dealer who hasn't used ebay before.

Earlier today there was another dealer with a Package 9 on ebay. The latest bid was something over $29,000 and it said that the reserve price had not been met. The dealer had a "buy it now" price of something over $36,000. I'm sure that someone will buy the car for a premium, but I can hope that other people in his area will take their business elsewhere.

You also have to question how a 2004 salsa can have a grey interior

It's not a test post. That's the dealer that told me that they sell all their prius on e-bay and do not keep a list.

So they price them at two million dollars, wait for email replies, and then sell them directly, to avoid paying eBay's commission??? Because that seller has a zero rating.

Aha! Now there's a Perry Mason moment! Very good!

I'm putting my vote on "scam".
