Just finalized a deal for a 2011 Prius five in Blizzard with the navigation package in the Southern California region. I can't wait to finally join the ranks of the Prius family. The Prius will be replacing an 07 Acura TL, so the improvements in gas mileage can't come soon enough.

In case anyone else is also searching for a similar Prius, I was able to negotiate (relatively easily) MSRP at Hooman Toyota. They also added free oil changes, free tires for the entire ownership of the vehicle, and other benefits. Expected delivery is within 2-weeks.....yahooooo!

Welcome aboard! Nice deal. Hope those tires will be low rolling resistance type. Make sure and verify that with them.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I will make sure to post pictures upon delivery. This forum has been a wealth of information, keep up the great work!

Spiderman - Yes, the brochure did indicate they would replace the tires with OEM tires from the factory. Thanks for the heads up.

Woah.. Free tires AND oil changes? WHATTT!! When I bought my 2010, I got zero off of the MSRP, no free maintenance or anything. Then again.. that was when you had to wait months to buy a Prius. Enjoy your car! You're going to love it.

    Aloha and Welcome,

Glad to have you onboard nice color by the way. Enjoy your new Prius when you get it, I have a felling the two week wait will seem like an eternity. You got a Five with just nav. without the ATP?

Thanks and yes, the waiting does seem rather long. But in all reality, I will be waiting even longer. My current lease ends late September......so I won't be driving it until then.

Yes, I did the five w/nav only, no ATP for me.

I finally picked up my Prius, it took a lot longer than originally anticipated.

Hooman Toyota was not able to provide me with the vehicle as originally planned. I ended up getting the vehicle at a great price with Dianne at Carson Toyota. It was a pleasure working with Dianne and she got me exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend checking with her if you are looking for a Prius.

Also, I have already been bitten by the mod bug. In the picture, the Prius is lowered with the Eibach Pro Kit.

The car was lowered by Tommy at MusicBox. I paid $150 for the install, which I thought was fair.

Future mods coming shortly!!! So far, I'm loving the vehicle....minus the mushy ride. :plane:
