    Hi there.
My 2007 Prius has been hit several times in parking lots now, and fortunately all the damage has been to the bumper covers. Anyone know of a source for either used or new magnetic grey bumper covers? any good junkyards, etc?

    Hi Narf,

    1. There's a junk yard / used car parts database that ProblemChild found:

    Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

    2. But I was wondering, what is the extent of the damage?

If it's just scratches, chips or scrapes of the paint, then I would consider:

    a. Conferring with a body shop about the best paint fix.

    b. And if the scratches, chips or scrapes are all or mostly located within the 2 inches above the center crease that runs the length of the rear bumper and the front bumper (except the part taken up by the license plate mount), then I would consider just covering them up by installing 2 inch wide bumper guard strips. The body shop can put in 2" wide black bumper guard strips. If you want color matched bumper guard strips, then order them from BumperDefender.com:

Color Bumper Guards - The ultimate bumper protector and bumper protection device

For your Magnetic Gray, the best color match is BumperDefender.com's "Flint Mica Grey". You'll need an 8' length for the rear; and two 3.5' lengths for the front. If you want to see pictures of how they look on my Magnetic Gray Prius, see my posts and pictures here:
